Russian airlines Aeroflot cancelled its two flights between Moscow and Istanbul on Monday and Tuesday. Passengers should check their flight status before arriving airport and should contact with the airline company. There is no official statement from the airline yet about the future flights but 10.20 am flights on both Monday and Tuesday are cancelled.
After Turkey shot down a Russian warplane for violating its airspace on November 24, the number of the passengers flying to Russia decreased considerably which affected flights. The airlines announced the reason of the cancellation is decrease in occupancy.
