On 22 October, 769 delegates from 66 countries had already registered for the ICCA Congress. The previous record of an ICCA Congress in North- or Latin America was 734 participants at the 2008 ICCA Congress in Victoria, BC, Canada. In the last 10 years, the ICCA Congress has also taken place in Puerto Rico (2012) and Uruguay (2005).
The ICCA Congress brings together the world’s experts on international association meetings. Each year ICCA puts together a comprehensive three-days education programme specifically for that year’s Congress, bringing together a creative mix of associations, external experts, and a wide range of those ICCA members who are undertaking the most innovative and exciting initiatives around the world.
Delegates attending the Business Exchange will exchange detailed information about key international events they have recently hosted or helped to organise, which allows them to return to their offices with new potential business leads. The ICCA Congress delivers high level delegates (two thirds are CEO’s, company owners, or senior level directors) and networking opportunities with a truly global audience.
