Shopping with Palestinians and Tour of Jericho

Our time in the Palestinian city of Jericho was hot, but a tremendous historical education. Our local guide explained the historical events of the famous sycamore tree, the Elisha well, and so much more. Allot of people may be surprised that we would be touring Palestinian areas, but we did not feel threatened or mistreated as all. Instead we where treated very well, and they where very happy to have us there. Our guide and all of the strangers treated us very respectfully. Once we left Jericho it was time to head to Jerusalem, and we ended our day on the Mt. Of Olives overlooking the city. Happy Travels, John and ExploreTraveler Team
