Qatar Airways announces network frequency increases


Qatar Airways has announced network frequency increases including popular routes – Dubai (UAE), Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Peshawar (Pakistan), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Belgrade (Serbia), Sofia (Bulgaria), Asmara (Eritrea), Djibouti (Djibouti), Najaf (Iraq), Luxor (Egypt), Salalah (Oman) and Zanzibar (Tanzania) all of which are launching over the coming months.
Highlights of the frequency upgrades are:
Dubai (DXB & DWC)      126 flights a week to 133 (19 daily flights), from July 16
Jeddah                              14 flights a week to 21, from June 18
Peshawar                         3 flights a week to daily flights, from October 1
Kuala Lumpur                  21 flights a week to 24 flights a week, from July 2 to August 29
Sofia-Belgrade                 5 flights a week to daily flights, from July 2
Zanzibar                             5 flights a week to daily flights, from October 1
Asmara                              3 flights a week to 4, from July 1
Djibouti                              3 flights a week to 4, from July 3
Luxor                                  4 flights a week to 5, from November 1, 2015 to March 20, 2016
Najaf                                  8 flights a week to 10 from July 15, and from 10 flights a week to double-daily flights from September 18
Salalah                              8 flights a week to 11, from October 6
