Weemss online ticketing and event registration software has integrated with India's online payments solution company PayU to give event organizers there a local payment processor for their events. With Weemss and PayU event organizers in India will now be able to accept payments through Debit and Credit Cards as well as bank transfers, Cash cards, and mWallet transfers from their attendees.
With PayU, as with the other payment methods in Weemss, all revenues will continue to go directly to the event organizer.
On this latest update Weemss Co-founder and CEO Ovanes Ovanessian explained that “India has always been captivating due to the blend of cultures and rich traditions that interplay in vibrant festivals. Best of all, today it is a growing market in which we see a lot of potential for organizing local and international events.”
Integrating PayU follows the Weemss strategy of Localization. The software already gives event organizers worldwide the freedom to work with 9 different global payment methods, over 160 local currencies and more than 40 languages.
