Hyatt City of Dreams Manila officially opens

Located three kilometers from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Hyatt City of Dreams Manila officially opened its doors. The hotel is a five-minute drive from SM Mall of Asia and the SMX Convention Center, and a ten-minute drive from the World Trade Center and Philippine International Convention Center, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travelers.
Spread over two gleaming towers, Hyatt City of Dreams Manila was created by award-winning architects Asya Design, with interiors by Arlen P. De Guzman Design Associates. It houses 365 modern rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows where guests can recharge and kick back when they are not busy exploring the city.
Ranging in size from 36 to 85 square metres (377 to 915 square feet), the contemporary guestrooms are designed with a focus on efficiency and simplicity. In the living space, guests will find a fully functioning work space with an ergonomic desk chair, a 47 inch LED HDTV with an interactive interface, an iPod docking station, and a safe large enough to accommodate a laptop – all of which augment the guest experience at the hotel.
Meanwhile, guests staying in any of the 45 Club rooms within Hyatt City of Dreams Manila are welcome to visit the Club Lounge on Level 7 of Tower II. In this tranquil, comfortable space, Club guests can enjoy a host of exclusive, complimentary services including personalized, seated check-in and check-out, breakfast, drinks and light snacks throughout the day, and canapés and pre-dinner cocktails.
The hotel is ideally located within City of Dreams Manila, the pinnacle of entertainment in the Philippines. The focal point at City of Dreams Manila is the Fortune Egg—a golden dome-like structure, accented by dramatic lighting and anticipated to become a gleaming landmark of the Manila Bay area. Within the dome will be two nightclubs by preeminent nightclub operator Michael Van Cleef Ault who has created dozens of clubs in the hottest cities worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Aspen, Sao Paulo, Monte Carlo and London.
For families, DreamPlay is the world’s first family entertainment center from Hollywood studio DreamWorks Animation, introducing education-based, interactive entertainment inspired by the mantra of learning through play. Spread over 2,400 square metres (25,834 square feet), DreamPlay is an exciting, integrated blend of live and digital play spaces, featuring DreamWorks’ beloved characters and includes a 165-seater café; a store; and three themed party rooms.
In addition, City of Dreams Manila houses a ballroom with capacity to seat 500 guests, a multi-level car park, a live performance central lounge, a variety of upscale retailers, and large selections of bars and dining venues ranging from casual eateries to premium fine-dining establishments.
