MCLEAN, Va. and BELLEVUE, Wa. - Industry and community leaders gathered at the Hampton Inn & Suites Bellevue Downtown-Seattle on Thursday, December 11, for a spectacular event celebrating the grand opening of Hampton Hotels' 2,000th hotel. The occasion included a dreamlike finale where acrobatic dancers, suspended and scaling down from the building, performed a unique choreographed dance created just for the celebration.

During his remarks, Cordell commented on Hampton's growing presence, "This has been a momentous year for the Hampton brand, from the signing of an exclusive agreement to expand the brand into China, with the first hotel expected to open by the end of 2015, the 25th anniversary of the 100% guarantee and a 30-year anniversary of the brand altogether. We're pleased to end the year with a huge growth story for Hampton - 2,000 hotels and counting."

Hampton additionally announced its commitment to the local community by donating 2,000 meals per day for 30 days in honor of the milestone and invited guests to pay it forward to their charities of choice using brand-sponsored GlobalGiving gift cards.
