BANGKOK-Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa completed an $11-million renovation that upgraded accommodations and restaurants.
The resort's 408 refurbished rooms, including 101 suites, are designed in Thai style with scenic river or garden views, floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies.
Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa's dining outlets also received new looks. The Market and Riverside Terrace restaurants have been transformed by an investment of $1.3 million.
The Market received a refresh of its contemporary Thai decor, offering guests an atmospheric setting for daily buffet breakfasts, either in the dining room with expansive windows revealing views of the tropical grounds and river beyond, or outside on the terrace. Riverside Terrace was redesigned to offer a more vibrant, open-air setting for the nightly international buffets with cooking stations, as Thai dancers perform on a flame-lighted stage against a river backdrop.
Anantara has more than 30 properties located in Thailand, the Maldives, Bali, Vietnam, China, Cambodia, Mozambique and the United Arab Emirates, with future properties to open China, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Laos, Qatar and Oman.
