BOCAS DEL TORO, PANAMA—Union Hanover, a London-based specialty real estate investment and development company, has broken ground on Sarani Resort.
Construction has now commenced on the first phase: 37 bungalow suites that will encompass the eco-minded luxury resort set on the private island of Isla Pastor.
Miami-based independent hotel operator Boutique Hospitality Management has been selected to operate and manage Sarani Resort. Sarani Resort has also joined Preferred Boutique, a collection of 150 hotels and resorts worldwide, each featuring 100 rooms or less.
Sarani Resort spans 75 acres and occupies over one-third of Isla Pastor and its eastern coastline. The resort will be completed in August 2015. All accommodations have private balconies, modern amenities and king-sized beds.
Sarani Resort’s full-service spa will feature a variety of treatments, including advanced skincare therapies, therapeutic and integrated massages from around the world, exfoliation, nourishing and detoxifying body treatments and nailcare. The resort’s restaurant will serve a seasonal menu of modern tropical cuisine.
