Dubai was successful in winning the bid to host the 2015 International Dragon Award Meeting (2015 IDA Annual Meeting).
The win comes after a two year investigatory process organized by the Worldwide Chinese Life Insurance Congress. The meeting will take place in Dubai from August 22nd to August 25th and will be held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center. Mr. Richard Wu, the Chairman of the Congress says, “The reason to choose Dubai is not only because it is one of the most attractive tourism destinations, but also has a state-of-the-art business and convention centre which is equipped with the latest facilities. There is confidence that Dubai’s accessibility in terms of airlift; the number of well-designed hotels and the highest quality service standards will make the 2015 IDA Annual Meeting a successful business event”.
Worldwide Chinese Life Insurance Congress was established in 1996 and meets every two years. In 1998, the International Dragon Award was established by the congress committee. The International Dragon Award is an International Chinese life insurance and financial services industry event that honors insurance and financial professionals. The IDA is now recognized by the Chinese insurance industry as being a very important event. Each year, IDA attracts thousands of International Chinese insurance professionals to attend from over 80 countries. The 2014 IDA Annual Meeting will attract 7,200 delegates in Xiamen.
The IDA Annual Meeting 2015 will not only bring thousands delegates to Dubai, but also help to extend Dubai’s image influence in the International Chinese Insurance Industry as world’s most recommended convention and tourism destination.
