Destination Hotels & Resorts announced its newest property, Motif Seattle, which is situated on Fifth Avenue between Pike and Union streets, offers 319 guestrooms and 10 suites with sweeping views of Seattle's downtown, the waterfront and the Olympic Mountains.
The chic upscale hotel opened on June 14, 2014 and is the city's largest independently branded hotel.
"Motif was inspired by Seattle's burgeoning fashion, music and arts scenes," said Shannon Sheron, General Manager of Motif Seattle. "Motif Seattle draws upon the area's rich history, innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and avant-garde taste in the arts to create a guest experience woven from the fabric of our unique city."
Within the hotel there is a 10,000 square-foot Executive Conference Level and a VIP Executive Boardroom. The urban contemporary Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails on the 5th floor offers the largest outdoor patio in downtown and is Seattle's newest bar and dining hotspot.
Seattle based architecture firm, Ankrom Moisan, was selected to manage the design and the renovation of all 319 guest rooms and 10 suites, the grand lobby and the hotel's front entrance. Locally sourced wood panelling, native artwork and digitally interactive spaces are part of the design to entice and engage guests and Seattleites alike.
