Palace Resorts announces the further development of the brand’s mobile phone application.
Enabling guests to plan their vacation from any location, the easy to navigate application offers details on new promotions and events taking place at each of the brand’s seven oceanfront properties. Furthermore, the application is an effective management tool for the brand’s popular Resort Credit opportunities.
New mobile application features include the ability to access complete food and beverage menus from all of the bars and restaurants available at each property, resort navigation powered by Google Maps which showcases precise locations and points of interest, spa menus with reservation options and extensive property background information for guests to better assess which of the brand’s seven oceanfront properties suits their specific vacation needs. Additional features include a list of available tours and booking options.
The application is divided into different sections including weddings, golf, upgrades, tours, spa and beauty parlor, selected items and special dinners. Each individual offering listed includes a description, cost, recommendations, photo gallery, video and FAQ section. Once an activity is reserved and paid through the resort credit or room charge, the application will facilitate guests with an agenda of all the scheduled activities organized by date and time. The app also gets rid of the need to print out unnecessary materials, reinforcing the brand's commitment to environmental sustainability.
An added function of the mobile application allows guest to better keep track of their resort credit balance and utilize the “Come Back Soon” card option, which allows guests to roll the cash value over to subsequent stays at any of Palace Resorts’ seven oceanfront properties. Additionally, guests can gift the accrued cash value of the resort credits to friends or family that plan on visiting Palace Resorts in the future. Guests who book a stay of three nights or more can take advantage of the most valuable vacation promotion on record – Palace Resorts’ Resort Credit, which can be used on spa and beauty salon treatments, golf outings, private romantic dinners, upgraded wine lists, dolphin swims, scuba diving, zip-lining, offsite excursions and much more. Resort credits become exchangeable two weeks following the transferring parties’ stay at any Palace Resorts property, and the resort credits cash value balance is redeemable for up to twelve months after the original stay.
The customized mobile app is now available as a free download from iTunes Apple Store for Mac devices and Android Play Store for Android devices.
