Delta Air Lines resumed its nonstop seasonal flights between Istanbul and New York-JFK.
The flights will operate daily in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partner Air France and KLM.
“Our summer service provides customers from Istanbul with travel options to visit iconic sites across the United States, with passengers having over 50 convenient connections from New York,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Delta’s flight will also bring valuable business tourism opportunities for Istanbul which has recently been voted the top worldwide destination*.”

The services to New York-JFK will be operated with a 225 seat B767-300 aircraft featuring fully flat-bed seats in BusinessElite. Each forward-facing seat converts to a 180-degree full flat-bed and offers direct aisle access in a 1x2x1 configuration. Other product initiatives being rolled out across Delta’s international fleet include the expansion of Wi-Fi service by the end of 2015.
