Kenes Group, CIRFS: European Man-made Fibres Association, Contendam, and the European CanCer Organisation are amongst the leading domestic and international organisations delivering content and taking part in the Association Meetings Conference on 7 July, 2014 at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre.
Renamed The Association Meetings Conference for 2014, The Meetings Show’s association focused education programme will deliver a wide range of international speakers to an international audience focused on the business of association conferences and meetings.
“This is not about generic association management but a specific focus on the successful organisation and delivery of association events,” comments Association Meetings Conference chair and managing director of CPL Events, Linda Pereira. “We have sourced a wide variety of high profile speakers from associations, AMCs, PCOS and corporates to create a truly international line up of top level meetings experts.”
Split into two streams, one focused on the needs of association staff and the other on AMCs / PCOs, the event will pull together experts and leaders from the association meetings’ world to discuss new opportunities, challenges, effective business models, income generation and compliance affecting domestic associations as well as those with an international membership. An intimate, focused format has been chosen to maximise both the learning experience and the establishment of relationships. A selection of high profiles sessions from the two streams are detailed below.
The Meetings Show’s event director Steve Knight: “The Meetings Show was established as an event organised by meetings professionals for meetings professionals, and the focus of our Association Meetings Conference confirms just how close we are to the sector. We are not just a highly successful marketplace but also a meeting place where individuals can gather to share ideas, voice their opinions and grow the industry for the benefit of all.”
