Brand USA invites all to ‘Experience America’

On February 26, 2014, Brand USA recently organized an interactive evening for the travel trade and airlines called ‘Experience America’.  The event provided a unique platform of entertainment, culture, music and fun- coupled with destination education. The objective was to have a fun-filled networking evening while simultaneously updating the attendees on the unparalleled tourism offerings and products in the USA.

The event was organized at the Tote on the Turf at Mumbai’s racecourse, and the attendees included over 170 representatives from the travel trade, airlines, US consulates and select media. In addition to Brand USA other partners like Visit California, Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau & Alamo Car Rental were present.

The evening also saw enthusiastic participation from members of the audience at a quiz session designed to enhance knowledge on wider aspects of tourism in USA.  Dyu D’cunha, a renowned quizmaster and a famous Emcee lead the session and winners went home with an array of prizes.

Ms Sheema Vohra, Brand USA India, also present at the occasion commented, “This is a first-of-its–kind initiative by Brand USA in India. It not only serves as an educational platform but drives meaningful conversations with people who really matter to us. It also locally provides a flavor and feel of US destinations- including music and food, coupled with lots of fun. We hope our guests had a wonderful time being here.”
