Tourists seeking to travel between Paris and Barcelona can now use the first non-stop railway service between two cities.
Tickets for the new direct TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) train service from Gare de Lyon in Paris to Barcelona’s Sants station are on sale and train service will start from December 15.
Before the new direct train service, passengers had to change trains in Figueres, a Spanish town which locates 15 miles south of the French border. The new direct train service shortens travel between Paris and Barcelona. Passengers have the chance to travel from Paris to Barcelona within 6 hours, 25 minutes, or to Girona within 5 hours and 50 minutes.
