MIAMI—IHG has opened the 187-room Holiday Inn in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
The city’s first Holiday Inn hotel brings IHG’s portfolio for Colombia to nine: the Holiday Inn Express Bogota, Holiday Inn Bogota Airport, Holiday Inn Cartagena Morros, Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Medellin, as well as properties in the pipeline to be developed in Barranquilla, Cucuta and Cartagena.
The 18-story, new-build property is located near to the city’s financial district of Cabecera, private and public sports venues, as well as ecological parks.
Guest amenities at the Bucaramanga hotel include an indoor swimming pool, business center, state-of-the-art gym, a rooftop bar, restaurant and 11,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
The Holiday Inn Bucaramanga Cacique, owned by Hoteles Cacique Internacional S.A.S., a division of MARVAL, S.A., is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
