Philippine Airlines is set
to fly to Heathrow from November, just months after getting the green light to
return to European skies.
The Philippine national
carrier has secured slots at Heathrow and plans to operate five times a week
from Manila
with B777-300ERs from November 4.
The airline has not served
the airport for 15 years.
Philippine Airlines was
removed from the European Union’s controversial airline blacklist in July this
year, paving the way for it to resume flights to Europe .
At that time the airline said it planned to fly to a number of Western European
capital cities.
