New Hotel at Cairo International Airport

In view of the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s future development plan, several major projects are in its final stages, the new hotel of Airotel - a subsidiary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation - comes on top of these projects. The new hotel is connected to Terminal 3 and is expected to have its soft open during the November. 
Abdel Aziz Fadel, Minister of Civil Aviation and lead figures of the ministry had inspected the final course of action before launching this important project, where Fadel pointed out during the tour that "the challenges posed by the current situation will not hinder us from looking for better tomorrow and to continue planning and executing large projects for the welfare of the civil aviation sector”. He also added “the current government is persistent on mapping of the future for the New Egypt to secure tangible growth to the Egyptian economy, with aviation and tourism sectors as main factors for such growth.” 


Fadel added that "the new hotel reinforces the capabilities of Cairo International airport as a hub, especially in the light of the significant growth of transit passengers this year; the hotel also offers 600 new jobs for Egyptian youth."

On the other hand, Ragia El Gayar, Airotel chairman said "the new hotel has 349 rooms including 18 suites and one presidential suite, it is also furnished with 4 main restaurants as well as wedding and meeting hall that can accommodate up to 400 people, in addition to many service and recreational sites" . El Gayar added that "final preparations for launching the hotel are in progress, it was designed up to the international level of Le Meridian hotel chain in terms of colors, decor and rooms’ accommodations."

It is worth mentioning that the new Hotel is connected with Terminal 3 through the pedestrian bridge that connects the hotel and the airport halls, it is also connected to Terminal 2 which saves time and effort for passengers at Cairo International Airport.
