Marketing Seychelles in Africa and the Americas

The recently signed Code-Share Agreement between South African Airways and Air Seychelles provided the Seychelles Tourism Board with lots of opportunities marketing Seychelles in Africa and the Americas. 

“This agreement provides us with new opportunities in Africa, and the Americas and as far as Australasia as well, enabling us to promote Seychelles jointly with SAA in destinations where SAA flies too. “Said David Germain,   the STB Director for Africa and the Americas. 

Mr. Germain will be participating in the upcoming SAA North America Roadshow called “Africa Showcase“ which will be taking place next week from the 14th to the 23rd September in the US Cities of Boston, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles. A series of targeted workshops in each city, expecting a total of 120 US Agents in each city for one on one meetings.

The USA Roadshow is a joint collaboration between South African Airways and South Africa based event’s organizer “On Show Solutions” offering tourist destinations offices in Africa a marketing platform to increase awareness of their products and services in the United States of America.

The Roadshow has evolved into one of the largest travel events featuring exclusively African products providing agents with the latest information and tours designed to boost sales to Africa and the Region.

In the recently held “STB Mid-Year Review Meeting” held in Seychelles during the month of July this year, Mr. Germain pointed out the opportunities made available to the STB by the signing of the agreement between SAA and HM, and participation in this roadshow is a result of this agreement.
