The theme of the event is No Boundaries – Beyond
the Process; an outstanding programme has been developed to look at
creative solutions in three key aspects of travel management, with streams
dedicated to strategy, technology and delivery.
The event, now in its 4th year, now featuresa First Timers Welcome session; open to all but expecially to those new to the GBTA Europe Conference to help delegates make the most of the event.
The annual event's new format include stimulating keynotes on all 3 days. Keynote sessions include:
• an opening presentation from futurist and social media guru Gerd Leonhard
• a journey to find courage and inspiration to lead the necessary programmes of change, from Didier Marlier
• Philip Wolf, the respected travel industry guru and founder of PhoCusWright Inc. will interview Joop Drechsel, CEO of BCD Holdings NV, CEO of BCD Travel and Executive Chairman of Travix, on the future of the Travel Management Company; before a Leadership Panel session, “The Battle for Your Distribution Spend”, will feature industry association leaders from core sectors within the distribution chain.
The largest dedicated Give & TakeSMsession yet will feature at this year's event, with all 400 delegates taking part simultaneously. This is in response to previous years’ delegate feedback and positive results from the innovative Give & TakeSM approach to structured networking and exchange of knowledge and ideas.
