The Africa Travel
Association will hold the 8th Annual Presidential Forum on Tourism on Thursday,
September 26, 2013 on the occasion of the United Nations General Assembly.
This high-profile event, which is co-hosted by
New York University-Africa House, will spotlight investment in Africa 's growing tourism Industry, with a focus on
aviation and lodging.
Tourism leaders from
across Africa will participate in the program
which includes keynote addresses from Heads of State, an Open Conversation on
Tourism with African ministers, and a Networking Reception.
Over two hundred
professionals, those who affect and influence Africa bound and Africa interstate tourism, typically attend and network,
including airline and hotel representatives, diplomatic and government
representatives, investment and finance executives, African Diaspora leaders,
media, faculty and students.
It would be held on
Thursday, September 26, 2013 (Doors open at 9:00 am; program starts promptly at
10:00 am.) at New York University (Eisner and Lubin, 4th floor Kimmel Center,
