With
a decrease of 0.1%, traffic in July 2013 was at almost the same level
as in July 2012; total ATFM delays decreased by 37%, compared with
July 2012.
The
traffic decrease was in line with STATFOR’s intermediate forecast
of May 2013. Globally, the traffic follows 2010 and 2012 levels.
The
average ATFM delay per flight decreased from 1.7 minutes per flight
in July 2012 to 1.1 minutes per flight in July 2013.
The
average en-route delay in July was 0.8 minutes per flight, which is
significantly below the monthly guideline delay* of 1.14 minutes per
flight. The average en-route delay in 2013 to date is 0.55 minutes
per flight, which is below the corresponding guideline delay of 0.59
minutes per flight. This is an improvement on June’s delay figures.
