Culture and Tourism Directorate announced number of tourist arrivals
in June 2013.
A total of 4.941.118 tourists visited Istanbul in the first 6 months of 2013. The Directorate said that the number of foreign tourists visiting Istanbul increased 16.8 percent compared to the same period last year.
Number of tourists visiting the city continues to increase in June. A total of 957.894 tourists visited Istanbul in June2013, an increase of 2 percent compare to June 2012 that visited by 939.508 tourists.
The most of the tourists arrived in Istanbul are from Germany with 552.185 tourists which is followed by Russia with 296.765, USA with 234.183, and France with 224.987.
