Khiri Travel Myanmar will give guests on upcountry trips in
Myanmar
free beer on each day that it rains for more than ten minutes during the day.
This offer is valid from now until September 30 this year.
The promotion has been designed to boost demand
for trips in Myanmar
in the period when travel agent and consumer perception is that 'it rains', and
therefore is not a good period to come.
Will it rain free beer in Myanmar ? Meteorological evidence
shows that it remains relatively dry.
According to Weatherbase, in Bagan (Minbu) at the height of the rainy
season there are only on average 10 days a month from July to September with
any rain at all. In Mandalay in July and August there are only
eight days with any rain at all -- and average temperatures are a comfortable
In Inle Lake (Heho), visitors will have a better
chance of a free beer as there are up to 16 days a month July-September that
receive some rain. And average daily temperatures are a refreshing 70F (21 C )
