The
Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the global
business travel industry, is calling for nominations for the new GBTA
Spotlight on Transformation recognition programme.
Sponsored by Concur, the programme will recognise innovative ideas, products, companies and people through an ongoing series of profiles that will be published in the Global Business Travel Magazine, on gbta.org and at the biggest GBTA events throughout the world. These spotlight profiles will highlight improvements and transformations to the travel experience, boosting, the effectiveness of travel management and elevating the business of travel.
Business travel is a constantly changing profession at the very forefront of the global economy. Driven by factors including technology, global security, government regulation, and traveller satisfaction; the profession of business travel is in an era of rapid innovation and transformation.
Through this programme, GBTA will shine the spotlight on these transformative thought-leaders, companies, and innovations, allowing the business travel community to visualise what it truly takes to thrive in today’s rapidly changing business environment.
Tangible examples of this transformation occur at every touch point of the travel experience, and generate new revenue streams for travel suppliers, and greater efficiencies and cost savings for the travel buyers whose road warriors carry out the mission of their companies around the globe. Business travel innovation takes many shapes and sizes – from looking at travel data in a whole new way, to making simple policy changes to deliver a better outcome.
To submit an innovative idea, product, company or person, go to gbta.org/spotlight. Those recognised will be highlighted at GBTA Convention 2013 being held in San Diego, California from August 4-7, 2013; GBTA Aus/NZ Conference 2013 in Melbourne, Australia from September 16-18, 2013; GBTA Europe Conference 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic from September 23-25, 2013 and GBTA Procurement Symposium 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia from October 29-30, 2013. Recipients will also be highlighted in the Global Business Travel Magazine.
The deadline for initial entries is 15th July 2013.
