Following
a £10 million investment programme, Bailbrook House Hotel in Bath is
now open for meetings, conferences and events.
Bailbrook House Hotel offers 94 refurbished bedrooms, including 13 feature rooms in the sympathetically restored Mansion House, a conference room hosting up to 160 guests and a suite of training rooms. There are also four boardrooms in the Mansion House that are perfect for executive meetings and private dining. Combine these facilities with cutting edge technology including 72” Smart touch screens, wireless printers and high speed internet and Bailbrook House is the ideal venue for business.
Businesses can take advantage of the brand new Brunel Suite. The Brunel Suite, complete with six glittering chandeliers and floor to ceiling glass doors, attracts corporate celebrations or award evenings. This stunning room opens out onto a terrace – perfect for outdoor networking or a drinks reception. With a capacity of 160 guests, the suite now offers its own separate bar area and conservatory. In addition to the four boardrooms, other areas newly opened in the restored Mansion House include a new fine dining restaurant, Cloisters, three lounges and a conservatory bar – perfect for more informal meetings, entertainment or presentations.
The re-opening in phases over summer 2013 marks the end of a ten month restoration project, costing £10million. With all restoration due to be complete by August 2013, the architecturally splendid Grade II* hotel will officially become part of Hand Picked Hotels, the award winning collection of country house hotels, in autumn 2013, bringing the total number to 18 hotels across the UK.
Bailbrook House, set within 20 acres of private grounds with glorious views over England’s only world heritage city, was originally built as a private residence in the early 1790s and has had a number of uses over the years. The current development programme is transforming the hotel into a leading 4 star destination, with a sympathetic restoration and refurbishment of the original Mansion House and a total refurbishment of Bailbrook Court.
Jonathan Squire, General Manager of Bailbrook House Hotel, said: “The transformation of the hotel has been amazing and I warmly invite businesses to come and use the new facilities to their best advantage. With easy access to the motorway, and a short hop to the city centre, Bailbrook House Hotel is a great option for both local and national businesses”.
