The Symposium is expected to attract more than 1000 key air transport stakeholders from airlines, airports, the supply chain and governments, from across the globe. The theme of the event – Action for Sustainability – acknowledges the need for long term strategies and investment for sustainable developments to strengthen air cargo.
The opening plenary on 12 March will feature keynote speeches from Akbar Al Baker, CEO of our host airline Qatar Airways and Tony Tyler, Director General and CEO of IATA.
During the course of the event, the major discussion tracks include:

There will be a press conference with Mr. Al Baker and Mr. Tyler from 10:00 to 11.00 AM on 12 March. Media are welcome to attend all three days of the Symposium. IATA experts will also be available for interview during the event.
