In
January 2013 both Berlin airports combined reported 1,627,619
passengers, which is an increase of 0.3 per cent over the same month
of the previous year.
The
number of take-offs and landings amounted to 16,972 flight movements
(-0.8%). Air
freight in January rose by 4.1 per cent to
2,234 tons.
In
Tegel 1,195,697 passengers were registered in January. This result is
equivalent to an increase of 4.6 per cent compared with the same
month of the previous year.
At
Schoenefeld 431,922 passengers were counted last month. This is a
decrease of 9.9 per cent compared with January 2012.
