As from 15 April 2013, Air France will operate 10 weekly flights to Abidjan in the Ivory Coast by Boeing 777-300 and Airbus A340 from its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
To better meet the needs of its customers, Air France is continuing to invest in the Ivory Coast by increasing the number of services from 7 to 10 weekly flights. Thanks to these 3 additional frequencies, Air France customers will be able to choose the departure time and services that best suit them.
This announcement is part of Air France’s development strategy to Africa. The Company is increasing services to Libreville with a daily flight as from 31 March. On the same day, it will be increasing capacity by 18% to Nigeria, by operating a larger capacity aircraft (Boeing 777-200) to Port Harcourt and Abuja.
Air France and KLM operate flights to 42 destinations on the African continent and more than 1,000 destinations worldwide with their SkyTeam partners.
More choice and made-to-measure services to Abidjan
In addition to the daily flight by Boeing 777-300, 3 additional frequencies, by Airbus A340, will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. In this way, 3 times a week customers will be able to choose the departure time that best suits them.On departure from Paris:
AF 702 – Leaves Paris-CDG at 13h50; arrives in Abidjan at 18h00 the following day.Flight operated every day by Boeing 777-300
AF 704 – Leaves Paris CDG at 19h10; arrives in Abidjan at 23h35.
Flight operated on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays by Airbus 340
On departure from Abidjan:
AF 703 - Leaves Abidjan at 22h20; arrives in Paris CDG at 06h30 the following day.Flight operated every day by Boeing 777-300
AF 705 – Leaves Abidjan at 01h50; arrives in Paris CDG at 10h20.
Flight operated in addition to the daily flight, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays by Airbus 340.
