Leros Island recognized as Bike Friendly Destination

 

Leros Island has been recognized as the first bicycle-friendly island in Greece, receiving the Bike Friendly Destination label under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Environment & Energy, and the Ministry of Transportation.

ITF countries could do better on their commitments to walking and cycling, says new PATH report

 LEIPZIG – ITF member countries are increasing their commitment to walking and cycling policies and strategies but more needs to be done to really connect this work to their climate, health and equity agendas, says a new report by the Partnership for Active Travel and Health (PATH).
