Bookable now: AIDAprima with new winter cruises 2026/2027 from Kiel and to the Canary Islands

Rostock, April 9, 2026 For the second winter in a row, two AIDA ships will be sailing from German ports. AIDAprima will offer new cruises from Kiel, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife in the upcoming autumn and winter of 2026/2027. Guests can expect to experience the cultural highlights of the Baltic Sea metropolises and cities of Western Europe on the itineraries, which are now available for booking. Impressive natural experiences in the fjords of Norway and the Canary Islands are also on the program. The winter program from Germany is complemented by AIDAnova, which will depart from Hamburg on 7-day cruises to southern Norway and the metropolises along the European west coast.

New diverse winter program from Kiel in the Baltic Sea and Norway

With Kiel as its central winter port, AIDAprima will offer a variety of cruises ranging from 4 to 11 days in the coming season, which can also be combined for longer voyages. On December 19, 2026, AIDAprima departs from Kiel for a short cruise to pre-Christmas Scandinavia, followed by a Christmas holiday cruise in the Baltic Sea, calling at Riga, Tallinn, and Helsinki. The New Year's cruise takes the ship to Scandinavia, with stops in Oslo, Gothenburg, and Copenhagen, among other ports, where AIDAprima will celebrate New Year's Eve 2026/2027. In February and March 2027, the focus shifts to voyages through the Norwegian fjords. For the first time in winter, the ship will call at Flåm, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aurlandsfjord.

Further cruises will visit classic destinations in the Baltic Sea and the Baltic States, ensuring a diverse itinerary from Kiel. A particular highlight is the 9-day cruise departing on March 7, 2027, which will visit Oslo during the Holmenkollen Ski Festival. In keeping with the Nordic theme, the ice rink on the sports deck of AIDAprima's Northern Europe cruises will once again offer guests winter fun.

Canary Islands in Autumn and Winter

For guests who want to extend their summer, AIDAprima offers various 7-day cruises in October and November 2026 that combine the Canary Islands with the Portuguese island of Madeira or Agadir in Morocco. This offering is complemented by two cruises in October and December 2026 along the west coast of Europe, as well as the 24-day "Grand Winter Break Canary Islands from Kiel" in January 2027, which allows for a convenient visit to the Canary Islands from Germany without flying.

Relaxed Travel from Germany

Northern Europe, the Baltic Sea, and the Canary Islands have been among the most popular cruising regions for AIDA guests for years. Driven by steadily growing demand, Northern Europe in particular is increasingly developing into an attractive year-round destination. With the new cruises departing from Kiel, the cruise offerings from German ports are strengthened and further developed. On board AIDAprima and AIDAnova, guests can enjoy the familiar AIDA vacation experience even in winter – with nature, culture, and a variety of leisure activities at sea.

The new AIDAprima cruises in autumn 2026 and winter 2026/2027 are now available for booking at travel agencies, through the AIDA Customer Center at +49 381 202 707 07, or at www.aida.de.
