A head start for Ascott's new convention centre in Hanoi

Rising on the shores of West Lake, Ascott Tay Ho Hanoi is sharpening Hanoi’s appeal for large-scale business events with the debut of a new International Convention Centre that brings convention-scale infrastructure into an integrated hospitality development.

Positioned as a major new addition to Vietnam’s MICE landscape, the venue is anchored by what is billed as Hanoi’s largest pillarless hotel ballroom – the Ho Tay Grand Hall. Spanning 1,400sqm, the venue can accommodate up to 2,000 guests cocktail-style or 1,000 for banquets.

A total of 14 flexible event spaces support a variety of formats including congresses, product launches, executive meetings and gala dinners.

Rather than a standalone facility, the centre forms part of what is shaping up as Ascott’s largest integrated complex globally. The convention facility is already operational.

When fully launched, Ascott Tay Ho Hanoi will take in 1,165 hotel rooms and serviced residences, 10 dining concepts, wellness facilities and a sky bar.
