MIAMI – Royal Caribbean has officially opened Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, a new all-inclusive beach club destination in Nassau, The Bahamas. The beach club welcomed its first visitors on December 23, following an official ribbon-cutting ceremony held shortly beforehand.
The opening event brought together Bahamian government officials, community
representatives and Royal Caribbean executives, marking the completion of a
project that began construction in April 2024. Visitors sailing to Nassau can
now purchase all-inclusive day passes through Royal Caribbean for access to the
beach club’s amenities and experiences.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island combines beach, pool and entertainment
offerings across multiple areas. The destination features two beaches and three
pools, including The Floating Flamingo, described as the world’s largest
swim-up bar, alongside The Deep End pool and The Shallow End pool.
The beach club offers unlimited dining at three beach grills and 10 waterfront bars, live music, local artisan huts and cultural programming. Included amenities also cover umbrellas and lounge chairs, lockers and towels, Wi-Fi access and roundtrip transportation via five water ferries.
“Guests told us they were looking for more ways to make the most of their
vacations in The Bahamas, and that’s exactly what we’ve created with Royal
Beach Club Paradise Island. Whether it’s a chill day on the island’s two
pristine beaches or the ultimate beach party at the world’s largest swim-up
bar, we’ve crafted a destination that caters to every mood,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO
of Royal Caribbean. “The opening of our first Royal
Beach Club introduces a bold new kind of beach experience, and it’s just the
start of what’s to come in our growing destination portfolio.”
The destination is organised into three main areas. Family Beach includes
the zero-entry The Shallow End pool, beach games and the Ultimate Family
Cabana, a two-level cabana featuring a private whirlpool, slide, drink machine
and dedicated attendant service. Chill Beach focuses on relaxation with access
to white-sand beaches, The Deep End pool and cabanas with upgraded amenities.
Party Cove centres around The Floating Flamingo, where DJ-led entertainment
and swim-up bar service are available throughout the day. The second-floor
Party Deck offers private pool-front spaces for up to 12 guests with dedicated
food and beverage service and ocean views.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island was developed through a public-private
partnership with the Bahamian government. According to Royal Caribbean, the
project supports the local workforce through the creation of hundreds of jobs
and integrates Bahamian influence across design, entertainment, retail and
culinary offerings.
The opening of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island expands Royal Caribbean’s
destination portfolio, joining Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. The
cruise line has also announced future openings, including Royal Beach Club
Cozumel and Royal Beach Club Santorini in 2026, Royal Beach Club Lelepa in
early 2027 and Perfect Day Mexico in late 2027.
