Although the period for submitting refund claims for Blue Islands customers has expired, liquidators have said ‘provable claims’ will still be accepted.
The Channel Islands-based carrier folded last November, leaving 100 staff out of work and passengers stranded.
Around 20,000 passenger bookings were affected.
Receiver Ernst and Young said ticket holders can ‘currently still admit provable claims’ after the initial 29 December deadline passed.
It reminded customers who used a credit card to book flights to directly contact their card issuer.
Debit card users may also be able to claim a refund through their existing charge back procedure.
Customers who still haven’t made a refund claim should contact BlueIslandsLiquidation@uk.ey.com for further details.
