Royal Caribbean’s long-teased beach club experience in The Bahamas is officially ready for its close-up.
The cruise line officially celebrated the debut of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this weekend, just days before the new Nassau destination welcomes its first guests on December 23, 2025.
The event brought Royal Caribbean executives together with Bahamian government officials, underscoring the collaboration behind the project and its ties to the local community.More than 150 government leaders, VIPs and community members attended the
festivities and were able to get an early look at what Royal Caribbean is
calling a first-of-its-kind destination. Set on one of Paradise Island’s
most picturesque stretches of sand, the new venue blends authentic Bahamian
culture, cuisine and hospitality with the cruise line’s signature design and
service style.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island
is designed as an all-in-one beach day, with different all-inclusive zones
catering to different vacation moods. Guests looking to keep the energy high
can head to Party Cove, home to The Floating Flamingo, billed as the world’s
largest swim-up bar. Those craving something calmer can stretch out at Chill
Beach, while families have their own dedicated space at Family Beach, built for
easygoing, all-day fun together.
The private, fully orchestrated
setting will offer the scope and flexibility to let guests shape their perfect
beach day without needing to leave the island or plan multiple excursions. With
its official opening just around the corner, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island
is poised to become a major new draw for cruise guests visiting Nassau this
winter and beyond.
