Aviator Airport Alliance (Aviator), a full-range provider of aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics and part of Avia Solutions Group, has signed a new three-year contract with Wizz Air.
The agreement, which starts on 13 January 2026, covers ground handling and de-icing services at eight airports across Norway. For the travel trade and aviation partners, this signals a strengthening of Wizz Air’s operational support in the country as the carrier continues to develop its Nordic network.
Under the new deal, Aviator will provide services at Ålesund Airport (AES), Bergen Airport (BGO), Bodø Airport (BOO), Haugesund Airport (HAU), Kristiansand Airport (KRS), Stavanger Airport (SVG), Tromsø Airport (TOS), and Trondheim Airport (TRD). While no flights are currently planned for Bodø or Kristiansand, the agreement includes provision for potential operations at these airports in the future.
“We are delighted to see Wizz Air becoming our client again in Norway, and we are looking forward to starting this new partnership with the airline. We are excited that Wizz Air has chosen us, and we are looking forward to delivering results and on-time performance for its passengers,” said Peter Stackeryd, Aviator’s Managing Director, Norway.
The new contract deepens an already established cooperation between Wizz Air and Aviator in the Nordic region. The two companies are currently partnered in Denmark at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) and in Sweden at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN), Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT), and Malmö Airport (MMX).
“We have successfully partnered with Aviator in Norway before and we are pleased to be reestablishing this partnership. We also currently enjoy close and successful cooperations with Aviator in Denmark and Sweden. Their safety-first approach, high quality levels, and reliability provide the foundation we need to support and further develop our operations across Norway,” stated Kristof Filemon, Airport Development Manager at Wizz Air.
Wizz Air, based in Budapest, Hungary, flew 62.7 million passengers last year through its own operations and those of its subsidiaries. The airline connects customers with destinations across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
