Qatar Travel Mart (QTM) 2025 will return to Doha from 24 to 26 November at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), reaffirming Qatar’s role as one of the region’s key meeting points for the global tourism industry. Organized by NeXTfairs for Exhibitions and Conferences and supported by Visit Qatar as Strategic Partner and Katara Hospitality as Founding Partner, the event continues to strengthen the country’s position as a gateway to the Arabian Gulf and an emerging international tourism hub.
According to Rawad Sleem, Co-Founder and General Manager of NeXTfairs for Exhibitions and Conferences, QTM has rapidly established itself as a regional focal point for thought leadership and industry exchange. “QTM has evolved into one of the region’s most influential platforms for shaping the future of travel and tourism,” he said. “Each edition reflects the industry’s dynamism, fostering connections, innovation, and opportunities that inspire growth across all tourism sectors. As Qatar continues to position itself as a world-class destination, QTM serves as a catalyst for collaboration and a showcase of the country’s vision for a sustainable, experience-driven tourism economy.”
Last year’s edition welcomed more than 10,000 visitors, over 300 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, 300 hosted buyers, and 50 speakers – a milestone that sets high expectations for 2025. This year, the event will highlight emerging trends across ten core segments: culture, leisure, business, luxury, sports, medical, halal, technology, sustainability, and education. Exhibitors are expected to include destination management companies, hotels, tour operators, technology providers, and tourism boards from around the world.
QTM 2025 will also feature three conference days focused on the forces reshaping global tourism. On 24 November, discussions will center on culture and heritage under the theme “Preserving the Past, Shaping the Future.” The 25 November conference, “Designing Tomorrow: Hospitality, Innovation & Sustainability in a Changing World,” will explore the sector’s strategic transformation. The final day, 26 November, will focus on “Catalysts for Change,” examining how mega events, wellness, and health tourism influence future growth models.
The event comes at a time of sustained momentum for Qatar’s tourism sector, which welcomed 3.5 million visitors in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 2.2% year-on-year increase. Visit Qatar says QTM 2025 will further accelerate this positive trajectory.
Andrew Steele, Managing Director of Raffles & Fairmont Doha, emphasized the event’s value for industry collaboration. “We are delighted to once again take part in QTM, an inspiring event that plays a vital role in connecting global travel professionals and showcasing Qatar’s world-class tourism offerings. It provides a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with our valued travel partners, strengthen long-standing relationships, and forge new ones for the future. QTM continues to be an exceptional platform to highlight the country’s growing leadership in the luxury and ultra-luxury space. Together with Qatar Tourism, Visit Qatar, and our industry partners, we remain committed to supporting the nation’s 2030 vision and positioning Qatar as a true global leader in hospitality.”
A signature element of the event, the Global Village, will again host cultural showcases from eleven countries: Indonesia, Poland, Türkiye, South Africa, Ghana, the Dominican Republic, Iran, Russia, Peru, Thailand, and Haiti. Through performances, artisanal exhibitions, and immersive demonstrations, the Global Village is designed to foster cultural understanding and strengthen international tourism links.
QTM 2025 will also include a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony, honoring excellence across the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors. The evening will combine networking, entertainment, and recognition of innovators shaping the future of global tourism.
Qatar Travel Mart 2025 will welcome visitors daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at DECC.
