Concord Hospitality, along with capital investors Whitman Peterson, the Dasburg Family Office and Mayo Clinic, have opened the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic. The eight-story, 252-room hotel is the first new full-service Hilton in Jacksonville in nearly two decades.
“With the support of our partners, we are proud to introduce the newly opened Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic,” said Paul Novak, partner, Whitman Peterson. “This exceptional property delivers high-end accommodations for patients of a world-class medical center while also representing a significant investment in Jacksonville, strengthening the city’s position as a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers.”
Spanning more than 184,000 sq. ft., the sits adjacent to the Mayo Clinic campus, a premier medical center. The campus is surrounded by wooded areas, with natural ponds, creating a peaceful environment.
“We’re proud to welcome the Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic to our Florida campus,” said Dr. Kent Thielen, CEO, Mayo Clinic in Florida. “This new hotel strengthens our commitment to providing a healing environment that extends beyond clinical care. For our patients and their families, it offers a warm, supportive place to stay just steps away from the care they need. And for Jacksonville, it contributes to economic growth and deepens our connection to the community. Together, we are creating an environment where care, comfort, and community come together in a meaningful way.”
The hotel’s design was led by DLR Group. Its glass exterior emits a warm, welcoming glow and reflects the surrounding scenery, while stone and wood complement the natural setting. Accessibility was also a key design element, evident in the zero-curb transitions from parking to entry, smooth flooring connections and minimal mobility obstacles for wheelchair users.
Designed by HVS Design, the hotel’s interior elevates its sleek architecture with understated elegance. Warm textures, vibrant glass accents and crisp modern lines create a sophisticated yet serene atmosphere. The space is further refined by artwork curated by DAC, a women-led art consultancy based in Atlanta, whose selections reflect the natural surroundings and enhance the overall sense of comfort.
“Our partnership with Mayo Clinic, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Whitman Peterson made this exemplary hotel possible,” said Mark Laport, CEO, Concord Hospitality. “From the start, our goal was to create a space that serves Mayo Clinic patients while elevating the guest experience for all visitors to Jacksonville. Working closely with Hilton Design & Construction Group and Hilton franchise development, we aligned on a development that not only honors the Hilton brand but also pushes its boundaries to deliver a truly distinctive and elevated guest experience.”
The property features 21 suites, more than 21,000 sq. ft. of flexible event space, a full-service restaurant, Coastal Kitchen, a resort-style outdoor heated zero-entry pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a lobby café.
The property was constructed by Randolph Construction Group in partnership with Integrated Construction LLC. META Real Estate Partners and Bank of America provided financing for the project
