Royal Caribbean has now implemented a no show fee for specialty dining bookings.
The cruise line has informed travel agents of the new charge by email
.The policy is fleet wide and is to ‘preserve these limited seats for clients eager to experience our limited-capacity dining options.’
“By encouraging guests to honor their reservations, we aim to enhance the overall experience,” it added.
To avoid having to pay the fees, guests should cancel their specialty dining reservations at least 24 hours before.
Guests in Star Class suites and those reserving through a Dining Package are exempt.
The no show fee is $50 per person for Supper Clubs, Omakase, Royal Railway and Chefs Table.
For all other venues it is $25 per person, except for the Celebration Table which is calculated at 50% of initial reservation cost.
