EL AL and Matmid Frequent Flyer Program sign strategic partnership agreements with HOT

 

EL AL and the Matmid Frequent Flyer Program have entered into a strategic partnership agreement with HOT, launching several joint initiatives:

HOT Content on EL AL Flights: HOT will integrate its leading content into EL AL’s in-flight entertainment systems. Passengers will enjoy a rich variety of content during flights, including popular original productions, children’s and youth programs, and more.

Additionally, HOT has signed a cooperation agreement with the Matmid Frequent Flyer Program, offering various benefits to HOT customers holding the Matmid Frequent Flyer Program’s FLY CARD:

  • Double Points Accumulation: FLY CARD holders will earn double points when purchasing various HOT services.
  • Redeeming Points for HOT Services: FLY CARD holders can redeem their accumulated frequent flyer points for purchasing mobile and international data packages through HOT mobile.
  • Exclusive Joining Benefits: FLY CARD customers will enjoy special joining benefits for HOT services, redeemable with points or a combination of points and cash.

At an event, EL AL CEO Dina Ben Tal Ganancia and HOT CEO Tal Granot-Goldstein announced the long-term strategic partnership agreement, which will provide unique services and benefits to customers of both companies, alongside an advanced content experience during flights.

As part of the collaboration, FLY CARD holders will benefit from double points accumulation for purchasing a variety of HOT Group services, including mobile and international data packages. The double points accumulation will be available for purchasing a range of HOT Group services, such as TV, internet, and mobile packages in Israel and abroad (excluding electrical services). Additionally, FLY CARD holders will be eligible for special sign-up benefits for HOT services, redeemable with points or a combination of points and cash.

Moreover, a content agreement has been signed between the companies, which will include the full integration of HOT’s new content into EL AL’s in-flight entertainment systems. In the coming months, a variety of new content will gradually be added to EL AL’s in-flight entertainment systems. Passengers will be able to watch HOT’s beloved original productions on EL AL flights, including “Shababnikim,” “Zaguri Empire,” “Indel,” “We Are on the Map,” “Corduroy,” “Queens,” “Spin,” “The Dream Owner,” “Goalstar,” and leading original series for children and youth, such as “Hurry and Caution,” “Bugiz,” and more. Additional content is expected to be added later.

The event, held at the King David Lounge at Ben Gurion Airport, included a toast with senior executives from both companies. Following the toast, actors from HOT’s successful series “Shababnikim” – Uri Lazerovich, Israel Atias, Daniel Gad, and Omer Perlman – surprised passengers at the departure gate of an EL AL flight. They were joined by Tal Morad, a member of EL AL’s team, who shared the news of the new agreement with passengers.
