Ει βούλει καλώς ακούειν, μάθε καλώς λέγειν, μαθών δε καλώς λέγειν, πειρώ καλώς πράττειν, και ούτω καρπώση το καλώς ακούειν. (Επίκτητος)

Anantara Hotels Triumph as Top Luxury Brand with Quadruple MICHELIN Guide Honors in Thailand

Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a premier brand catering to contemporary travelers, is thrilled to share that four of its distinguished properties have received honors in the esteemed MICHELIN Guide Thailand’s global rankings. Notably, the Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort has earned the prestigious MICHELIN Two Key distinction, positioning it among only 19 hotels nationwide to secure this honor. Additionally, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort, and Anantara Hua Hin Resort have each garnered the MICHELIN One Key distinction, placing Anantara as the top-recognized luxury hotel brand in this edition of the MICHELIN Guide Thailand.

The MICHELIN Keys highlight the world’s premier hotels and resorts, symbolizing the zenith of global hospitality standards. Analogous to the renowned MICHELIN Stars awarded to restaurants, the MICHELIN Keys result from extensive evaluations by professional inspectors and represent the most exemplary establishments in the sector.

This accolade arrives as MICHELIN marks the fourth year of its extensive update to the hotel guide, now encompassing over 5,000 global properties. These are not merely places to stay but destinations that profoundly enhance the travel experience. Each property is rigorously assessed across multiple categories including architectural and interior design, consistency and quality of service, distinctive personality and charm, value for money, and their unique contribution to enhancing the overall guest experience in their respective locales.

Dubbed “an extraordinary getaway,” Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort is nestled at the junction of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar in the renowned Golden Triangle. Lauded by the MICHELIN Guide as “timeless and pristine,” this resort spans 160 acres of bamboo groves, rice fields, rural landscapes, and native gardens. It also hosts Asia’s leading elephant camp and sanctuary, making it a unique retreat for visitors.

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, a premier destination in Bangkok under the Anantara brand, is celebrated by the MICHELIN Guide for its luxurious, colonial-inspired architecture, becoming a top choice among the city’s elite. Its design, featuring traditional Thai elements and lush private gardens, brings a touch of graceful elegance and tranquility, creating an oasis away from the urban frenzy.

The MICHELIN Guide also recognizes Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort for its ability to blend serene isolation with convenience to the energetic atmosphere of Koh Samui. The resort’s design offers a sophisticated residential ambiance rather than a rustic, thatched setting. Anantara’s expertise in crafting refined, chic beach retreats shines through, maintaining their signature upscale allure.

Anantara Hua Hin Resort stands as the pioneering establishment of the Anantara brand, epitomizing elegance in Hua Hin’s hospitality landscape. Crafted to mirror a traditional Thai village, this tranquil and modern classic resort is situated directly on the beachfront. It has garnered multiple accolades over the years, setting a benchmark that has influenced the creation of many more properties under the Anantara banner worldwide.

We are deeply honoured to have four of our iconic hotels and resorts recognised among the first MICHELIN Key hotels in Thailand. As one of Thailand’s only homegrown hotel brands, to receive a MICHELIN Two Key distinction for Anantara Golden Triangle, and one MICHELIN One Key distinctions for Anantara Siam, Anantara Lawana, and Anantara Hua Hin is a testament to the commitment to excellence from our dedicated and passionate colleagues, who continue to push boundaries and set new standards in the world of luxury hospitality.” Puneet Dhawan, Head of Asia, Minor Hotels.
