SWISS extends suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut until 26 August

 

After further review of the situation in the Middle East, SWISS has decided to extend the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut until and including Monday, 26 August. The airspaces over Iran, Iraq and Israel will be avoided as well until 26 August.

 

We very much regret the inconvenience this may cause our passengers, but the safety of our passengers and crew always takes top priority. Affected passengers will be contacted directly. Of course, we offer free rebooking to a later date or a full refund of the ticket price.

 

We are continuing to monitor the situation in the Middle East. Our specialists are evaluating all available information and are in constant contact with the relevant authorities in Switzerland and on site.
