As an official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Air France will be transporting 600 pupils from Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Saint Martin and Reunion Island to Paris, where they will attend Paralympic events. This is a great opportunity for these young people aged between 9 and 18 to discover the diversity of disabled sport and the values of the Paralympic spirit.
This large-scale operation is part of the ‘Ma classe aux Jeux’ programme, set up by the French Ministry of Education, and based on the ‘Tous aux Jeux’ ticketing scheme, initiated by the French government, enabling 400,000 people from different backgrounds (young people, sports communities, people with disabilities and civil servants) to experience the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Air France CEO Anne Rigail said, ‘Following the success of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games promise to highlight Air France's foremost values of inclusion, diversity and the desire to excel. This operation is a fantastic opportunity for these 600 young people to experience a historic event, and we are delighted to be able to make our contribution by flying them to Paris. As an official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Air France is fully committed to the ‘Games Wide Open’ approach promoted by the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Organising Committee.’
