For National Earth Day, Rosen Hotels & Resorts plans to plant eight trees to celebrate their 50th anniversary. A Rainbow Eucalyptus tree will be planted at each of their seven hotel properties, with an additional one at the main operations building. These trees will be showcased with special plaques for guests to appreciate.
The Rainbow Eucalyptus is known for its vibrant colors and fragrant nature, especially its multi-hued bark that evolves over time into shades of blue, purple, orange, maroon, and green. In various cultures, these rainbow colors symbolize adaptability and resilience, qualities reflected in the choice of these trees for Rosen properties as a nod to the strength and diversity of the associates at Rosen Hotels & Resorts.
Beyond being a beautiful commemoration of their milestone, tree planting also benefits the environment significantly. According to the Arbor Tree Foundation, it helps improve air quality, prevents flooding, and absorbs harmful pollutants. A mature tree can absorb over 48 pounds of carbon dioxide annually and provide enough oxygen for about four people in a day.
Sustainability and environmental protection are integral values at Rosen Hotels & Resorts, woven into their company culture. This tree-planting endeavor is part of their broader commitment to a greener future.
