Jet2.com Norway and Fjords programme set to take off

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks’ new Norway flights and city breaks to Bergen kick off from Leeds Bradford Airport next month.

It marks the first time that Jet2 has operated to Bergen in over 15 years

Over the next few weeks, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will be expanding their programme to Bergen even further, with new Norway flights and city breaks  from Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham Airports.

The new programme of spring flights and city breaks to Norway were launched in response to increasing demand from customers.

Customers can choose from a Norway flight-only option with Jet2.com or a Jet2CityBreaks package holiday

Bergen holidays are part of a growing product range called ‘Discover More’ that have been designed to cater to holidaymakers’ sense of adventure, which includes non-family bookings, couples and solo travellers.

As well as easy access to the Norwegian Fjords such as Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, the city of Bergen itself has a historic harbour district, Bryggen.

The Discover More range currently includes Turkey, Iceland, Christmas Markets and Croatian cruises in addition to a number of popular city break destinations.

Discover More packages to Bergen include Norway flights with Jet2.com, including 22kg hold luggage, as well as 3, 4 and 4+-star accommodation.

Packages also include a full-day tour that features a boat trip along the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord from Flam to Gudvangen, as well as a mountain railway journey to Myrdal.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “We are delighted to see our new programme of flights and city breaks to Bergen start.”
