Hilton Toronto elevates luxury revamped accommodations & delectable frenchy brasserie

Nestled in the heart of the city’s bustling downtown, Hilton Toronto beckons locals and travelers alike to embark on a refreshed hotel journey. With newly renovated rooms exquisitely crafted for ultimate comfort and style, the urban oasis introduces Frenchy, Toronto’s latest French bar and brasserie, adding a touch of sophistication to the vibrant locale. Situated mere steps from the city’s attractions, Hilton Toronto extends a warm invitation to both returning and new guests seeking a refined home away from home.

Revitalizing the Lobby Experience
Stepping into the hotel, guests are embraced by a transformed lobby, radiating an inviting ambiance and a sense of intimacy. Crafted by esteemed design studio DesignAgency in collaboration with Barney River, the lobby’s rejuvenated architecture boasts softened concrete finishes, enhanced sightlines, and seamless connectivity between entrances and amenities. Redefining the check-in process, individualized desks replace the traditional long counter, offering personalized service and an elevated experience for individuals and groups alike. Complementing this tailored approach, The Market, reminiscent of a stylish general store, provides convenient snacks and beverages for those on the move.

After check-in, guests are encouraged to explore the redesigned lobby, a welcoming space designed for relaxation and socialization. Featuring inviting areas for work, leisure, and dining, the reimagined space sets the scene for unforgettable moments. At its core, Frenchy elevates Hilton Toronto’s renowned hospitality with its oval-shaped bar serving an array of delights from freshly brewed coffee to artisanal cocktails. Meanwhile, plush banquettes and armchairs invite guests to unwind in comfort within both the lounge and dining areas. Concealed within Frenchy is a private dining room adorned with lacquered cabinets showcasing a curated selection of wines – an ideal setting for meetings, tastings, and special gatherings. Serving as the focal point of the hotel, Frenchy enlivens the entire space, fostering a dynamic hub of social interaction that redefines the traditional lobby bar experience with its blend of intimacy and versatility.

“Collaborating with Hilton Hotels and Resorts on revitalizing its Downtown Toronto property was an exciting project,” said Matt Davis, founding partner, DesignAgency. “With the goal of elevating the hotel’s existing elegance and service, we are honoured to have contributed to the city’s hospitality landscape by reimagining the previous space as a vibrant and lively new experience.”

Local Artistry

Highlighting the property’s advantageous location within the city and its surrounding community, the lobby boasts an elevated ambiance adorned with a captivating array of artwork, many of which are bespoke commissions. Showcasing pieces sourced from local art galleries, these artworks underscore the hotel’s dedication to curating a distinctive and culturally significant atmosphere. Adjacent to the elevators and The Market, three striking pieces from Toronto’s esteemed Thompson Landry Gallery, nestled within the historic Distillery District, command attention. Carol Bernier’s “Rives” and “Aborder L’Inconnue No. 1”, along with SylT’s “Ethereal Ascension”, inspire wonder and intrigue. Within Frenchy’s private dining room, two specially commissioned pieces, also sourced from Thompson Landry Gallery, are strategically placed to infuse an air of sophistication and introspection – “Muddy Feet Pressing to Early Coffee Stands” and “It’s Only the Breeze Travelling” by France Jodoin. Additionally, gracing the bar and brasserie are photographs from LUMAS, adding diversity to the artistic narrative within the space. Guests can admire Bart Van Leeuwen’s “Sorrento 1992” and Will Falize’s “Vie du Jour”. By embracing local artistry, the selected pieces not only foster community engagement but also reinforce the hotel’s sense of belonging within its surroundings.

Room Revitalization
Upstairs, the hotel’s accommodations undergo meticulous renovations aimed at ensuring utmost comfort and a welcoming atmosphere for guests away from home. Positioned as a premier Hilton destination in Toronto, the design ethos seamlessly melds timeless elegance with contemporary sophistication. Through a harmonious fusion of traditional elements and modern sensibilities, classic shapes and a carefully curated neutral palette exude warmth and comfort, setting the stage for an unforgettable stay. Accentuated by bold blue touches, the guest rooms transcend passing trends, enveloping guests in an environment of enduring style. These renovations not only redefine the Hilton experience but also set a new standard for excellence in hospitality. Rooted in timeless design principles and a commitment to spaces that exude sophistication, comfort, and practicality, Hilton Toronto emerges as a beacon of superior hospitality amidst Canada’s dynamic landscape.

“We are thrilled to unveil a new chapter in our hospitality story,” said Andy Loges, area general manager, Hilton Toronto. “Our renovation is more than a physical transformation; it’s a testament to our dedication to curating immersive and unforgettable experiences for our guests. From the addition of Frenchy to the enhanced design of our accommodations, every detail reflects our dedication to creating an environment where guests can come, enjoy and linger. We want every stay and meal to be more than time well spent – instead, we want them to be cherished memories.”
