Etihad Airways saw passenger traffic swell by 84% year-on-year last month.
The UAE flag carrier handled more than 1.4 million passengers with its load factor at 89%.
Overall, combined passenger traffic numbers are up 40% for the year so far, compared to the same period in 2023.
Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “February was a busy month; we added three new 787-9s, a move which is aligned to our network expansion strategy of adding new destinations.”
Last month the airline also announced two new routes beginning this year: to Antalya, Turkey and Jaipur, India.
The latrer represents Etihad’s 11th non-stop India flight.
