Newmarket Holidays has a new campaign championing destinations where travelers get more for the pound.
It helps travel agents showcase better value destinations which have seen sterling surge over the past 12 months.
Egypt tops the list, with the value of the pound up by a massive 63% the Egyptian pound.
South Africa has seen its value leap by just over 24% since May 2022, while in Kenya, sterling is up by 16%,
This boosts the spending power of Brits on safari.
There’s a similar rise in Norway against the Norwegian krone in the past 12 months.
In Iceland, the pound has grown by over 8%.
For long-haul trips, India and Canada's holidays offer 5% savings on in-destination spending compared to 2022.
Richard Forde, Head of Trade Sales said: “We want to help agents capitalise on consumers seeking value for money.”
“There are some brilliant destinations where the value of sterling has shot up over the past 12 months.”
The operator highlights an On Safari in South Africa safari and the eight-day Beautiful Fjords of Western Norway adventure as examples.
