Royal Caribbean has revealed details on its lineup for summer 2023 in Europe, which will include nine ships visiting destinations in over 25 countries.
Travelers can choose from 35 different itineraries on sailings five to 12 nights long.
Odyssey of the Seas
In summer 2023, Odyssey of the Seas will return to Europe following its first summer in the region in 2022. Guests will be able to choose from seven to nine-night voyages from Rome to Naples, Italy and the Greek Isles and Turkey, as well as 12-night Holy Land sailings to Cyprus, Jerusalem, and Ephesus.
Symphony of the Seas
One of the largest cruise ships in the world, Symphony of the Seas will operate seven-night cruises from Barcelona or Rome to destinations including Naples, Palma de Mallorca, Provence, and Florence.
Serenade of the Seas
Serenade will sail from Barcelona, operating eight-night itineraries to the western Mediterranean, 12-night cruises to the Greek Isles, and five-night sailings to Italy and France. Destinations will include Ibiza, Cote d’Azur, and Cannes.
Explorer of the Seas
New to Ravenna, Italy, Explorer of the Seas will explore the Aegean Sea and visit Olympia, Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Seven-night cruises will sail to the Greek Isles and beyond, to Adriatic and Mediterranean gems such as Kotor, Montenegro and Chania, Crete.
Brilliance of the Seas
Sailing open-jaw cruises from Italy, Greece, and Spain, Brilliance will offer a choice of four cities to start and complete guests’ adventures in the western Mediterranean, Greek Isles, and Adriatic Sea. The seven-night cruises will sail from Rome to Athens, Athens to Venice, Venice to Barcelona, and Barcelona to Rome.
Rhapsody of the Seas
Rhapsody will be the first Royal Caribbean ship to sail from Limassol and Haifa, Israel all in one season. The summer schedule will consist of seven-night cruises to ports of call in Turkey, Israel, and Greece, including first-time destinations for Royal like Skiathos and Thessaloniki, Greece.
Starting in September, the ship will offer shorter four and five-night getaways from Haifa, visiting Cyprus and the Greek Isles.
Anthem of the Seas
A returning favorite, Anthem of the Seas will call Southampton home for the third year in a row. Guests can choose from seven-night adventures to Spain and France, or voyage north to the Norwegian Fjords. Destinations new to Anthem for the season will include Maloy and Haugesund, Norway, as well as Cork, Ireland.
Longer 11 and 12-night sailings will visit places including Lisbon, Portugal; Vigo, Spain; and the Canary Islands.
Voyager of the Seas
Voyager will return to northern Europe, sailing from Copenhagen, Denmark and Stockholm on a mix of seven to 11-night cruises around Scandinavia, Estonia, and Russia.
Those looking for an even longer trip can cruise from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Copenhagen on a 14-night transatlantic cruise that includes an overnight in Bermuda, as well as visits to St. Thomas, France, and Belgium.
Jewel of the Seas
All summer, Jewel of the Seas will cruise roundtrip from Amsterdam, welcoming guests on 12-night cruises to the Arctic Circle, British Isles, Iceland, and Ireland.
